A beautiful picture story book with a prose poem telling about a young girl who calls herself a child of books. She mets a boy named Ethan and explores her land of make believe with him. Adventuring together through the landscapes made up of classic books such as Treasure Island, Alice in Wonderland, and more the pair come to understand the power of imagination.

Illustrations:
Sam Winston uses his classic style of typographical backgrounds merged with ink sketches that create beautiful and one of a kind scenes. He uses the words of classic books to create mountains, oceans, caves, and more. The characters he creates melt into these scenes and yet stand apart as beautiful and unique creations.

In the classroom:
This is one of my personal favorite books I've ever come across. It is a must have for the classroom. This poem story book shows the amazing portrayal of reading and imagination as something exciting and important. It is filled with amazing art illustrations and the writing is superb.
