Title: Teatime with Tigers

Genre: Poetry

Summary:
This is a collection of stories in beautiful lyric poetry. A thrilling poem about a kooky backyard pirate will thrill readers. Along with a long poem about tigers coming to tea. Students will really see what happens when the zoo is closed! This book contains all kinds of wacky and fun poetry to entertain readers of all ages.

Illustrations:
This book has only a few illustrations here and there and all in the same style. An ink drawing filled with watercolor like paintings. These illustrations highlight the important visuals from each poem. These help readers visualize the imagery from the poems.

In the classroom:
I believe that students will really enjoy this collection of story poems. It is filled with longer poems that weave into stories. Students who enjoy reading silly and fun poetry will find something to enjoy within these pages. It is an easy read but a good size collection of work.
